About dk’s

It’s all about the Potatoes!

Peter and Sandra Scott, along with their son david, have been growing potatoes in the Otway region for more than 35 years.

Upholding the tradition of their father Keith, or “DK,” the Scott’s family farm is situated in the heart of the Otways, a region renowned for the highest quality food production.

Peter has been a certified potato seed grower for over 35 years.

For many years Peter multiplied seed volumes of new potato breeding lines on behalf of the Victorian Potato Scheme for commercial evaluation.

This involvement with the Department of Agriculture breeding scheme led Peter to develop a keen interest in breeding and developing new varieties of his own.

The Otways – A Pristine Farming Environment

The Otway Ranges are renowned for growing world-class, highest-quality produce, including blueberries, truffles, potatoes, and a broad range of vegetables. The area has a thriving dairy industry, wine industry, and sheep and beef cattle that thrive in a pristine natural environment.

Our family’s passion for growing quality potatoes began in the Otways with our father, DK, over 70 years ago.

Now in our third generation of farming, we are continuing DK’s tradition of quality and innovation with these delicious naturally purple potato chips, rich in antioxidants and flavour.

To maximise their natural goodness and taste, DK’s purple potatoes are simply washed, sliced, and kettle-cooked in their skins, then sprinkled with a hint of salt.

Try the unique taste of DK’s purple potato chips. You will love them!
